About Flydar

Why this exists

Every flight search shows you the same banners: "Limited-time fare." "Best price." "Book now." Most of the time, none of it means anything: it's just the route's normal price wearing a discount costume. Telling a real drop from that noise means knowing what a route actually usually costs, for your exact dates, every time you'd think to check. Nobody has time to do that by hand, for every trip they might take. So we built something that does.

What Flydar actually does

You tell us the routes you'd actually fly. Flydar watches economy fares against what each route normally costs, and emails you when one genuinely drops. Nothing when it doesn't, nothing when the price goes up, nothing to rebuild once your dates pass.

You book directly with the airline, or wherever the fare actually lives. We never touch payments, seats, or your travel documents.

What we don't do

• No ads, no affiliate links, no third party paying us to point you at a worse fare.
• We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. See the Privacy Policy.
• We don't email you unless a deal, or something about your account, is genuinely worth five seconds of your time.

You pay for the subscription; that's the entire business model. Nothing else needs to happen for Flydar to make sense.

Who's behind it

Flydar is built and run by a small independent team, not a travel conglomerate and not a media company selling clicks. That's on purpose: a subscription is the only thing we get paid for, so getting the alert right is the only incentive in the building. Nobody here is compensated when you book, or by whom.
